Terms and Conditions – Self Publishing LLC
By accessing our website, engaging with us, or purchasing any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the Company’s Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
“Company” refers to Self Publishing LLC.
“Client” refers to any individual or organization purchasing or using the Company’s services.
“Services” refers to all publishing-related services offered by the Company, including but not limited to editing, design, formatting, publishing setup, marketing, and distribution assistance.
Step 1: Consultation
The process begins with an initial consultation or project briefing to understand the client’s goals, manuscript status, and publishing requirements.
Step 2: Service Agreement & Payment
Once the scope of work is defined, a service agreement is issued. Services commence only after acceptance of the agreement and receipt of the required upfront payment, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Step 3: Project Execution
The Company performs services according to the agreed scope and timeline.
Step 4: Client Review & Approval
Clients are provided the opportunity to review drafts or deliverables.
Step 5: Final Delivery / Publishing
Upon client approval, final deliverables are provided or submitted to the selected publishing platforms.
All payments must be made through authorized payment channels. Refund eligibility is governed strictly by the Company’s Refund Policy. Services are non-refundable once initiated, except as expressly outlined in the Refund Policy.
Clients agree to provide accurate, original, and complete content; maintain accurate and monitored contact information; secure all necessary rights for third-party materials; and respond to Company communications within ten (10) business days.
Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in project suspension and may require payment of applicable restart, renewal, or reactivation charges before services resume.
Refunds, credits, or reversals will not be issued if delays, suspension, or non-completion result from the client closing their business, changing their brand name, restructuring operations, altering the project scope or objectives, project abandonment, change of mind, personal disagreement, dissatisfaction unrelated to service performance, or pursuit of lower-priced alternatives.
Clients retain ownership of their original manuscript and content. If a refund is issued, all completed or partially completed work remains the exclusive property of the Company and may not be used, published, or distributed by the client.
All client information and project materials are treated as confidential and are not shared or sold to third parties, except as required to perform the services or comply with applicable law.
Deliverables are considered delivered and accepted when sent to the client’s registered email address or designated delivery portal. Delivery is deemed complete after three documented delivery attempts via email, regardless of client acknowledgment or response.
The Company does not guarantee book sales, revenue, bestseller status, rankings, reviews, media coverage, return on investment, or commercial success of any kind.
Clients agree to contact the Company directly to resolve billing concerns before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks may suspend services and may void refund eligibility if work has commenced.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services for non-payment, abusive conduct, policy violations, illegal content, or failure to comply with these Terms.
The version of these Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of purchase shall apply. Continued use of the Company’s services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the Company operates. Nothing in these Terms limits or overrides mandatory consumer protections under applicable laws.
